West Lancaster was a God send when two of my dogs were misdiagnosed by other vet and the care was transferred to them. they helped with my reactive/shy dog Misia, and with Piwo's CHF. they both have passed on. we recently got two puppies, and we moved further a way from this vet but they were such a positive for my family we decided to stick with this vet. Bandit was gotten in June of last year and Smokey in November. I dont know what happened between June and November but my experience went from amazing to I'll find another vet. With Bandit we were called and reminded that appointments were needed for vaccines, flea/tick weight checks, etc. Every time we would take him to appointments we were asked if we needed flea/tick treatment, and if we had any other concerns etc. when it came to Smokey, we were reminded about the need for her 4 month vaccines with days to spare before we would have to start the series vaccines again. It was a rough winter so maybe the staff needed to be off and things got away from them? We just had an appointment yesterday for series vaccines and her spay is scheduled in June. they did not check her chart to see if she had meds to be picked up and the vet contacted me today to let me know her pre-spay meds were ready. we were just there yesterday. its now a 30 minute drive without traffic. convenience in my situation was when I was just there the previous day. I get this was a tech visit yeaterday but I felt the appointment was a bit rushed although they did ask if we had any concerns at home. I said no because I am working with Smokey on her reactive/fear barking with a behavioral specialist. I was also not asked about flea/tick meds and with my child in the room and a dog barking her head off it was the last thing on my mind to bring up.
